Inclement weather kept the ferris wheel quiet Sunday. Operators said high winds made the ride unsafe. Weather permitting, the popular attraction will be in operation every weekend until December 22, including Friday 5-10 p.m., Saturday noon- 10 p.m. and Sunday noon to 8 p.m. for $2 a person. The 65 foot ferris wheel was brought back by the Downtown Victoria Business Association by popular demand taking centre stage in Centennial Square giving riders a unique view of the Christmas lights in the square.
