Car enthusiasts fill downtown Sidney for Torque Masters Auto Extravaganza

Around 80 volunteers helped with the event

A large crowd gathered in downtown Sidney during the 2023 Torque Masters Auto Extravaganza.

Hundreds of vehicles, including classic hot rods and new Corvettes, were on display during the event on Sunday (Aug. 6).

Approximately 80 volunteers helped with tasks such as parking cars, manning gates and taking care of booths.

The car show is put on by the Torque Masters Car Club, which has been around since 1967.

There was also live music and a variety of food options, including meals served by the Sidney Lions Club.

Several event sponsors were open, offering a patio setup for visitors.

Torque Masters also hosted a poker run and a mini-car show with over 50 to 75 cars on Saturday.
