The feedback will help define a series of active transportation projects.

The Capital Regional District (CRD) is seeking feedback on active transportation projects in the Juan de Fuca electoral area.

An initial survey was conducted in October 2024 to better understand how and where residents use active transportation.

Residents of the electoral area, which includes the communities of East Sooke, Otter Point, Shirley, Jordan River, Malahat and Willis Point and surrounding areas, are encouraged to review the proposed projects and share their thoughts on any aspects that may be missing or need further consideration.

The plan will define a series of active transportation projects, such as walking and cycling, in the short and medium terms, which may include new or improved pathways, trails, and bike lanes.

These projects will focus on refining and developing connections within the electoral area.

Visit getinvolved.crd.bc.ca/jdf-active-transportation-plan for details. The survey closes on March 9.
