PHOTOS: Esquimalt salutes Canada's veterans

Members of the Royal Canadian Navy, Cadets, Royal Canadian Legion, and Scouts Canada take part in a Remembrace Day parade at the ceremony at the Esquimalt Memorial Park in Esquimalt.

Hundreds descended to Esquimalt to honour those who've served.

Members of the Royal Canadian Navy, Cadets, Royal Canadian Legion, and Scouts Canada marched from the Tudor House Liquor Store as dozens lined the road, many saluting with hands on their hearts as they passed.

A band performance of Oh Canada, emotional speeches, a minute of silence and the laying of wreaths punctuated a packed Memorial Park where hundreds paid their respects on Remembrance Day.
