The biggest Island-wide art show is gearing up to welcome visitors this April, promising a vibrant celebration of creativity and artistic talent.
In celebration of their 75th anniversary this year, Saanich Peninsula Arts & Crafts Society, a non-profit organization, is hosting its annual Spring Art Show at Mary Winspear Centre on the last weekend of April.
The show kicks off with an Art Patron's Gala on Friday, April 25, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. This exclusive event offers a sneak peek at the artwork and a chance to mingle with the artists.
The show opens to the public on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and continues Sunday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors will be treated to a diverse gallery showcasing original paintings, sculptures, clay creations, glass art, fibre and textile works, jewelry, metalwork and woodwork.
Beyond the art display, attendees can also browse the show's gift shop and enjoy coffee with friends, creating a truly immersive art experience.
Tickets are priced at $10 and can be purchased online or at the door.
