The Victoria Society for Humanistic Judaism will mark two major Jewish traditions in the coming weeks.
Non-traditional services for Rosh Hashanah, also known as the Jewish new year, will be held Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. It will be led by ceremonial leader Sharon Kobrinsky and resident musicians.
The event is followed by a potluck supper.
On Oct. 4, the society will celebrate Yom Kippur. The fast is followed by a potluck supper.
