As summer winds down, many Greater Victoria residents are looking forward to everything the fall season has to offer – including themed markets.

The 2025 Potions and Notions Witchy Oddities Market will kick off a series of fall markets at the Metchosin Community Hall in September and October.

This Saturday (Sept. 6) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., shoppers are invited to come out and “awaken your inner witch.” The mystical market will include a variety of vendors selling everything from candles, herbs, crystals, art and more.

Participating vendors include West Coast Hygge, Kraftling Designs, Bewitching Eden, Charmed by Nature, Soule Flower Truck, Mystic Bones, Letty’s Elixirs & Apothecary, and many more.

Psychic Carol Foxton and West Coast Creative Spirits will also be on site to give attendees some “deeper insight” via tarot readings.

“Whether you’re seeking tools for spellwork or simply a touch of everyday magic, you’ll find it here,” organizers said about the first market event.

Admission is free, and the first 30 guests will receive swag bags.

A number of other markets are planned to take place around Halloween, all with free admission. The Metchosin Bewitched Market will bring witchy crafts and notions back to the community hall on Oct. 24 from 6 to 10 p.m., and Oct. 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Then, the Metchosin Witches Nite in Halloween Market and All Hallows Fair will take place at the hall on Oct. 31 from 6 to 10 p.m., and on Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Metchosin Community Hall is located at 4401 William Head Rd.
