Hundreds turned out for the Esquimalt Celebration of Light parade Sunday night (Dec. 1).
The celebration got underway at 3 p.m. with musical performances at the Archie Browning Sports Centre. The celebration hit the streets at 5 p.m. as the parade started off from Canteen Road. At 5:30 p.m. Vancouver Island's very own Maureen Washington and Rockheights Middle School added holiday music to the festivities.
