The Highlands Volunteer Fire Department welcomed the public to the East Hall for their 2023 open house.
The fun and educational event took place on Sunday (Aug. 20) and included fire hose demonstrations, a meet and greet with the firefighters and opportunities to get an inside look at the fire trucks and the hall.
Hot dogs were available by donation to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
Attendees were also able to try on firefighting gear.
