Staff and volunteers served Dodd’s Thanksgiving Dinner at the Our Place Society’s dining hall where Dodd’s Furniture and Mattress has sponsored a meal twice a year for 26 years.
“I am honoured to have partnered with Victoria’s Our Place Society since 1998. We are truly humbled and blessed to have served over 25,000 meals in support of Vancouver Island’s most vulnerable people over the past 26 years,” Gordy Dodd said in a previous news release.
Local dignitaries, media – including Victoria News publisher Randi Page – and volunteers joined Our Place staff Friday night (Oct. 11) to feed hundreds of Victoria’s most vulnerable residents during the annual Dodd’s Thanksgiving Dinner.
