The Horticultural Centre of the Pacific (HCP) is inviting the community to its 31st annual Arts & Music Festival this weekend.
The festival will feature more than 40 local art vendors, a variety of live musicians and family-friendly activities. The event runs Saturday and Sunday (Aug. 9-10), from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the HCP Gardens (505 Quayle Rd.).
Attendees will have the chance to browse unique, handmade pieces from local artisans and enjoy live music throughout the day. Family activities will be available for all ages, and visitors can purchase HCP-grown sunflower and mixed bouquets, along with plants from the centre's signature plant sale.
The HCP advises attendees to be aware of the garden paths, which have loose gravel, uneven ground, and roots. Parking is available by donation on Beaver Road.
