The Churchmouse Books sale runs June 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 1701 Elgin Rd.

Churchmouse Books celebrates All Things Green during its annual giant summer charity sale.

The green theme will be reflected in its curated offering of books and representatives from various community initiatives.

Thousands of pre-owned books will be available from the shelves and lining the pews. Attendees will have the opportunity learn about local green enterprises and bid on high-value items in a silent auction. Pulled pork sandwiches, mushroom burgers and hot dogs will be available for purchase.

Churchmouse Books invites the community to join in the celebration and be part of its ongoing mission to foster a love for books while making a meaningful impact. Bring friends, kids, and even the family pet! Admission is free, and donations of more books are always welcome.

Since founding in 2015, Churchmouse Books has served as a hub for book lovers, a meeting place for community, and a steadfast supporter of local charities. Over the past decade, more than $100,000 has been directed toward various charitable organizations including The Food Bank at St. John The Divine, Threshold Housing Society and OurPlace.

Staffed by volunteers, the Churchmouse Bookshop – also open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – receives used books from across Greater Victoria and finds them new owners in return for cash donations.
