The home located on Fairfield Road has been slowly and lovingly restored by a group of volunteers and boasts many of the original architectural details popular in the 1860s Gothic Revival Styles. Interior rooms feature period wallpapers , furnishings and artifacts. The home built in 1865 was saved from demolition by the Land Conservancy of British Columbia in 1999, and is one of the few surviving buildings in Victoria from that era. The home will be open for tours on the first Saturday of each month and will be hosted by the Ross Bay Villa Society.
