20,000 chocolates await Saanich Easter egg hunt in support of BC Children’s

Activities will include face painting, cupcake decorating, bubble blowing, and an epic egg hunt

Families are invited to Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park on Saturday, April 19 for the 26th annual Easter Egg Hunt.

The event welcomes little ones and their parents at 10 a.m. near the filter beds, and the egg hunt is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. 

Activities will include face painting, cupcake decorating, bubble blowing, a colouring contest and refreshments. 

More than 20,000 chocolates will be hidden across the park, with additional prizes also available. The Easter Bunny is expected to make an appearance.

Participation is by donation, with proceeds going to the BC Children’s Hospital. 

According to organizers, the Neal Estate Group has raised over $600,000 for the hospital since the event began more than two decades ago.
