A new exhibition by Canadian textile artist Sky Weir will open at the Arts & Culture Colwood Society gallery this week.
Reactive Patterning will run from May 8 to 25, open Thursdays through Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. at the gallery space in Colwood (170 Goldfinch Rd.). Admission and parking are free, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
An opening reception will be held Saturday, May 10, from noon to 2 p.m.
Weir, whose background spans graphic design, storytelling, and teaching, is known for her politically themed printed textiles, including a recent series of "VOTE COATS."
