Free concert in Nanaimo features B.C. talent leading up to the Juno Awards

A free concert at the Queen's will celebrate B.C.’s music scene leading up to the 2025 Juno Awards.

Tourism Nanaimo is hosting a live music event featuring Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Sirreal and DJ All Good on Thursday, March 27. 

Let’s Hear It B.C. is a concert series presented by Vancouver's Juno Awards host committee and it is stopping in six cities across the province. The other stops are Terrace, Prince George, Kelowna, Surrey and Victoria. 

A news release from Tourism Nanaimo said the concert will be an unforgettable night of music, community and celebration, spotlighting B.C. talent. 

“Music is a key part of Nanaimo’s identity and we’re proud to welcome the Let’s Hear It B.C. Junos Tour to our city," said Carly Pereboom, executive director of Tourism Nanaimo. "Events like this highlight the creativity, passion and talent that make Nanaimo so unique. This is a chance to showcase amazing artists and share the energy of Nanaimo’s music scene with visitors and locals alike.” 

The concert is free and entry will be first-come, first-served. The show will start at 8 p.m. on March 27.
