Jazz fans and music enthusiasts can look forward to a special treat this summer.
Georgia-born jazz sensation Madeleine Peyroux will headline TD JazzFest 2025's opening night as part of her Let’s Walk tour.
Renowned for her soulful voice, often compared to Billie Holiday, Peyroux blends jazz, blues, and folk into a timeless sound uniquely her own. Her career began busking in Paris and skyrocketed with her 2004 album Careless Love, which sold over half a million copies. Her latest album, Let’s Walk, showcases her most courageous and refined work to date.
Peyroux, who last performed at TD JazzFest in 2005, has collaborated with celebrated artists including k.d. lang and Walter Becker.
The concert is set for June 20, at the Royal Theatre. Tickets, from $61 to $85, can be purchased through the Royal & McPherson box office at 250-386-6121 or rmts.bc.ca.
