Jekyll, Hyde and spooky tunes coming to Christ Church Cathedral

A live score will accompany the black-and-white film

Movie-lovers rejoice: the Christ Church Cathedral is set to screen 1931 horror classic, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Perfect to watch before Halloween, the silent film, set in Victorian London, follows Henry Jekyll, who turns violent after experimenting with potions.

To accompany director Rouben Mamoulianthe's beautiful black-and-white shots, internationally-acclaimed organist David Briggs will improvise a score on the Christ Church Cathedral's massive organ.
