Art lovers can mark their calendars for two weekends of art and crafts as the Hills to Shore Artists Tour and the Saanich Scattered Artists Spring Tour return this May.
The Hills to Shore tour runs May 10 and 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., inviting visitors to explore 11 studios featuring 23 artists across Gordon Head, Mt. Tolmie and Cadboro Bay.
The self-guided tour offers a chance to meet painters, sculptors, potters, jewellers and glass artists while browsing handcrafted pieces in vibrant studios and garden settings.
Later in the month, the Scattered Artists Spring Tour takes place May 24 and 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with 32 artists showcased at eight locations throughout Saanich.
Visitors can expect original works in a range of mediums, including pottery, textiles, sculpture, jewellery and more, alongside music, refreshments and prize draws.
Both tours are free, self-guided, and go ahead rain or shine.
