Canada’s longest-running show comes to life on stage with a live symphony performance

Victoria will soon host a special event for fans of the long-running TV series Murdoch Mysteries. 

The live orchestral show, Murdoch Mysteries in Concert, is coming to the Royal Theatre on Nov. 2 and 3 The event is part of a collaboration between the show's producer and the Victoria Symphony.

Hosted by Yannick Bisson, who plays detective William Murdoch, and featuring the show's long-time composer Rob Carli, the event will bring fans on a musical journey through the series' themes. 

Conducted by Lucas Waldin, the Victoria Symphony will perform music from the series, including well-known symphonic works associated with Murdoch Mysteries.

One of the evening’s highlights will be a live performance of the soundtrack to the episode Murder in F Major as the audience watches it on the big screen.

Fans will also have the opportunity to attend an exclusive meet-and-greet with Yannick Bisson following the concert.
