Fresh off the heels of Phillips’ largest production to date, Phillips Backyard returns July 5-7 and August 9-11 with more top-tier headliners.
Last year, the music festival saw stand-out acts like the charismatic DJ Pee Wee (aka Anderson Paak), folk-indie behemoths Bahamas, and rock bands Lord Huron and Peach Pit, which saw one of the most hyped-up crowds.

This year’s headliners follow suit spanning a diversity of genres. At the top for Tilt! (July 5-7) is South African country musician Orville Peck, known for wearing a fringed mask and never showing his face publicly, along with his close friend Noah Cyrus, the sister of Miley Cyrus who makes her own headlines in the contemporary pop and country world. Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez, who toured most recently with Sam Smith and Billie Eilish will also perform along with pop band Saint Motel and rock band Half Moon Run.
In August, the series returns for Reverb with internationally acclaimed soul/rock band Black Pumas alongside rapper and producer Earl Sweatshirt and British dance band Jungle, coming in fresh from a major Coachella set and dubbed by organizers in a press release as a ‘don’t miss’ show.
Other highlights on Reverb weekend include LA dance act DRAMA, American sensation and songwriter Cautious Clay, Victoria’s very own Current Swell and Astrocolor alongside favourites DJ Murge (with former Dap King Saundra Williams), The Bankes Brothers, Nicky MacKenzie and more.
The two-weekend festival, which also celebrates craft beer, takes place at 2010 Government behind the Phillips Brewing & Malting Beer Shop.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m. and are available at phillipsbackyard.com along with the full lineup.
All single-day tickets are priced at $99 with weekend passes available for $255 and double weekend passes available for $475.
