Rocky Horror Picture Show goes full drag at Metro in Victoria

Drag Sunday Productions produces cult classic for 3rd consecutive year

A Time Warp with a twist comes to Victoria this month as an all-drag cast takes over cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

This production is the first in the area to feature a fully drag cast, and promises to be a wildly entertaining and fabulously queer version of the iconic show, according to the presenter Drag Sunday Productions.

“From stunning costumes to electrifying performances, audiences can expect an unforgettable theatrical experience that blends the best of Rocky Horror with the vibrant artistry of drag,” Shelita Cox told the Victoria News.

Due to the content in this live show, it is strictly a 19-plus event.

The event at the Metro Theatre in Victoria tends to sell out each year.  This year, the show’s third, moves to a general admission format with no seat selection when purchasing tickets.  Evening shows run Oct. 23 to 27 with a matinee on Oct. 26.  Get tickets online at dragsundayproductions.com/rocky-horror-victoria.
