The stars have been out in force this week, lining the red carpets in Canada's largest city for TIFF – the Toronto International Festival, a now-essential stop on any Oscar hopeful's annual tour.
Last weekend, fans went gaga for legendary comedian Bill Murray, even saluting the Saturday Night Live alum with a comic convention-ish 'Bill Murray Day' – a marathon of three of the actor's most famous films, Stripes, Groundhog Day, and Ghostbusters. Other A-listers – like Robert Downey Jr. (pictured above, video below), Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, and Jennifer Aniston – have premiered their respective films at this year's TIFF.
The celebrity presence and the hoopla around it was so dominant, the event and its attendees even received a cynical jab from Hockey Night in Canada host Don Cherry. (Hey, any press is good press. And in Don's case, that's really any press.)
The event – which started on Thursday, September 4 – runs until this Sunday, September 14.
