Fans of sours, stouts and ales, rejoice! Victoria Beer Week returns next spring and tickets are now on sale.
The Victoria Beer Society has announced a new slate of events for its eighth annual Victoria Beer Week, which is scheduled for March 4 to 12, 2022 after a two-year hiatus.
Craft beer lovers from across the region can take part in 12 events during the festival, which showcases more than 50 BC craft breweries across Greater Victoria and beyond.
The festival starts with Lift Off! on Friday, March 4 where patrons can try more than a dozen new beers and food truck treats. The opening event happens at The Powerhouse at 2110 Store St., the society’s new flagship venue.
Other events throughout the week include a boozy brunch, craft beer cocktail making, improv comedy and beer-themed trivia. Victoria Beer Week will also feature the ever-popular Beer School program with classes taking place over the course of the week – the full school schedule will be released in January.
Tickets for the events are now on sale online at victoriabeersociety.com or in person at the Victoria Beer Society headquarters at 2725 Rock Bay Ave. Society members can access discounted tickets to certain events.
Stay tuned to the society’s website for up-to-date public health protocols.
