Legendary band Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO) plans to kick-off its 2025 Back In Overdrive tour at Victoria's Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Between Apr. 1 and May 8, the Winnipeg outfit, responsible for record-shattering hits Takin’ Care Of Business and You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet, will perform in 22 Canadian cities. April Wine and Headpins will open for the group in its coast-to-coast rock-and-roll pilgrimage.

Founded in 1973 by musician Fred Turner and brothers Tim, Robbie and Randy Bachman, BTO produced seven top-40 albums and 11 top-40 singles in Canada. Worldwide, it has sold a staggering 30 million albums.

"Last year, Randy Bachman revived BTO, and has continued to tour throughout 2024 with a run of U.S. dates wrapping up next week," the band's publicist Sonny Bailey-Lemansky said in a news release. "Led by Bachman, who was recently nominated to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame, BTO's latest lineup also includes his son Tal Bachman. With Randy's legendary guitar and Tal's contemporary flair, BTO forges ahead, blending their classic hits with a fresh energy that captivates audiences worldwide."

In addition to its slew of hits, BTO will perform songs from The Guess Who, like These Eyes and American Woman, which Bachman formed with fellow Winnipegger Burton Cummings in 1965.

Tickets will go on sale on Nov. 8, 2024.
