Celebrate New Year's Day with lively Viennese music and dancing in Victoria.
The Victoria Symphony concert will feature Austrian operetta singers and Ballet Victoria dancers. The Viennese New Year concert tradition began 75 years ago when the Vienna Philharmonic staged a New Year's Eve concert. The tradition continues, although the concert now occurs on New Year's Day.
The concert will be held at the Royal Theatre, 805 Broughton St., on Jan. 1 at 2:30 p.m.
