In the video above, film guru John McKay looks back on some of Hollywood's favourite foodie classics, ending with Helen Mirren's 2014 flick The Hundred Foot Journey.
Mirren plays Michelin star-winning chef Madame Mallory, whose neighbourhood changes when an Indian family moves to France and opens a restaurant across her street.
Count it as a feel-good foodie comedy, the latest in a long line of similar features like Julie & Julia and Ratatouille, which are both also sort of set in France.
