Wideglide Entertainment has announced the third wave of artists for Sunfest Country Music Festival, happening on Aug. 1-4 at Laketown Ranch.
The Washboard Union, Cody Johnson, Mitchell Tenpenny, Aaron Goodvin, Andrew Hyatt, and Shawn Austin will be joining previously announced Jason Aldean, Maren Morris, Kip Moore, Randy Houser, Terri Clark, and Michael Ray, completing the bulk of the Main Stage performances that guests can expect to see at Sunfest.
Joining Randy Houser on Thursday night will be Cody Johnson, known for Billboard hits such as ‘Gotta Be Me’ and ‘Cowboy Like Me’. Kicking off the opening night will be Canadian country star, Shawn Austin, who’s co-managed by Sunfest alumnus Dallas Smith.
Fan favorite The Washboard Union will join fellow Canadian Terri Clark, and powerhouse Jason Aldean on Friday night. Winners of the CCMA Group of the Year award, it will be great to see them back at the Ranch again.
Saturday’s performances will begin with the smoky vocals of Canadian country music’s rising star, Andrew Hyatt. Mitchell Tenpenny, well-known for hits such as ‘Drunk Me’ and ‘Telling All My Secrets’, will then open for headliner Maren Morris.
Wrapping-up the weekend, the winner of the 2018 CCMA Songwriter of the Year Aaron Goodvin will perform ahead of Michael Ray and Kip Moore.
“We are so pleased to have confirmed this talented group of artists for Sunfest 2019. Sunfesters are sure to be entertained by this extraordinary lineup of country music’s best from Nashville and all across Canada,” said Greg Adams, owner of Wideglide Entertainment and Laketown Ranch, when making the announcement last week.
Further artists, completing the Sunfest 2019 menu, will be named in the spring.
Tickets start at only $269 for the weekend and are on sale now at www.sunfestconcerts.com.
