Across the province, hundreds of thousands of British Columbians took to the polls Saturday to cast their vote to determine who will lead the province for the next four years.

Oct. 19's voting day marks the first provincial election with new riding boundaries, which increased the number of seats in the legislature to 93 from 87. This is the province's 43rd election.

The leaders includes incumbent premier David Eby of the B.C. NDP, B.C. Conservative John Rustad and Sonia Frustenau of the B.C. Greens.
