Multiple weapons, including a loaded handgun, were seized by Victoria Police (VicPD) following a physical altercation between two women in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue on Monday, July 15.
The incident took place just before 1 a.m. on Monday morning, whilst officers conducted proactive patrols in the area.
Officers found a victim lying on the ground, whilst the suspect fled to a nearby tent. When arresting the suspect, officers noticed multiple weapons placed around the tent including three cans of bear spray, one baton, two machetes, eight knives and one hatchet.
A loaded handgun, cash and drugs in a bag next to the tent was also found by officers.
According to VicPD, the victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
