2 BC Transit passengers injured in collision at Victoria intersection

Victoria police and BC Transit are investigating after a collision involving a BC Transit bus and two other vehicles.

The incident took place just before 5:30 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 2) at the intersection of Douglas and Bay streets.

BC Transit says two passengers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and no other injuries were reported from the other vehicles.

“The bus suffered serious damages in the incident, particularly to the front windshield, and there was lost service as a result,” BC Transit said in an emailed statement. “Safety is our top priority at BC Transit.”
