3 hospitalized after two-vehicle crash near Thetis Lake

Minor injuries reported by first responders following southbound collision

A two-vehicle crash on Highway 1 near Thetis Lake shortly after 1 p.m. on March 22 led to three people being transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A two-vehicle crash on Highway 1 near Thetis Lake shortly after 1 p.m. on March 22 led to three people being transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Two fire trucks from the View Royal department, three ambulances, and three RCMP vehicles attended the crash, along with tow trucks from West Shore and Totem Towing.

The highway was partially closed, with traffic reduced to one lane in each direction for roughly an hour said View Royal firefighter Joey Drolet. 

The highway was reopened at around 2:30 p.m.

This is the second crash in 10 days on the same stretch of road.
