With clear skies anticipated right through the weekend, daytime temperatures are expected to reach 22 C on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, according to Environment Canada.
Light cloud is expected to linger Tuesday, with a high of 14 C slightly below the average of 15.8 C. The warmest day on record for May 7 in Greater Victoria, recorded at the Victoria International Airport, is 25.6 C set in 1956. The lowest is 1.2 C felt in 2002.
Cloudy skies are anticipated to return Sunday with a high of 20 C.
