Saanich police are asking those near Playfair Park to be careful after a cougar was spotted in the area.
Police were informed at around 10:30 a.m. Monday (Aug. 7) that the cougar was in the 1200 block of Judge Place and was heading toward the park.
Officers did not locate the cat but notified B.C. conservation officers of the sighting.
