Dozens of B.C. cyclists raced to the finish line in the West Shore for the Royal Bay Crit race through a one-kilometre tarmac course on Saturday, Aug. 2.
The course started on Tradewinds Aveune, across Quarry Street, around the round-about to Producers Way, across Hesjedal Way, and back up Tradewinds, to the finish line, making it a rare left-hand turning course according to the organizer, About the Ride Cycling.
"We have a really great community of cyclists, and they helped make this happen! Thanks to all who helped out, got the word out, etc," noted the About the Ride Cycling website.
