Victoria’s Downtown Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC), located at 1107 Pandora Ave., will close to in-person visits on Tuesday, Dec. 17, due to a scheduled BC Hydro power outage.

Victoria’s Downtown Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC), located at 1107 Pandora Ave., will close to in-person visits on Tuesday, Dec. 17, due to a scheduled BC Hydro power outage.

The outage, running from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., will allow for a system upgrade. Patients seeking care are advised to call 1-833-688-8722 to arrange appointments at alternate UPCC locations, including James Bay, Gorge, Esquimalt, North Quadra, and Westshore.

Downtown Victoria UPCC staff will be reassigned to other centres to maintain patient care. Virtual care appointments will remain unaffected.

The Downtown Victoria UPCC will reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
