Downtown Victoria vehicle fire disrupts afternoon commuter

Victoria firefighters made quick work of a vehicle fire downtown on Thursday (Oct. 26).

A van caught fire in the intersection of Cook and Yates streets at around 4 p.m., stopping traffic in all directions. Firefighters arrived and got water on the fire quickly.

Next up is calling a tow truck to clear the intersection.
