The entire food production facility of Epicure, a renowned cooking-supplies company, is being auctioned off on April 25, following the company's recent closure due to financial challenges.
Able Auctions, a leading auction service provider in British Columbia, has been tasked with liquidating all assets of the 9,000-square-foot facility in North Saanich.
The auction will feature a comprehensive range of food handling, blending and packaging equipment, including bottling lines, forklifts, racking and backup generators.
Everything must go, offering a unique opportunity for businesses in the food industry to acquire valuable equipment at competitive prices.
The online auction kicks off at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 25.
Potential buyers can inspect the assets in person on Thursday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 10555 W Saanich Rd, in North Saanich. Please note that children under the age of 12 will not be permitted at the in-person preview.
The 32-year-old company made the difficult decision to close its doors on Jan. 24.
Founder Sylvie Rochette cited the ongoing financial pressures many businesses have faced in the wake of the pandemic as the primary reason for the closure.
The company had operated from the North Saanich property, which includes two warehouses and an office, since 2003.
