Free concert atop Mount Tolmie in Saanich for B.C. Day

The violinists of Raven Baroque will play a range of hits from the 1650s during the performance on B.C. Day.

Vivaldi, Bach and other hits from 1650s will be played by Raven Baroque atop Mount Tolmie on Aug. 5. 

The group will be decked out in donated shoes from Baggins in Victoria while wearing period costumes and wigs.

Admission, along with parking, is free at the two parking lots on Mount Tolmie. 

Blankets and folding chairs are recommended for sitting on the cement reservoir. Sun hats and umbrellas are also suggested.

The performance by Raven Baroque runs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. with an intermission performance by Taoist Tai Chi from the Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism.
