Victoria Chamber Orchestra is entering its 30th season with an opening weekend concert at First Metropolitan Church on Oct. 18.
Conducted by Maestro Yariv Aloni, VCO will be playing Chaconne by Israeli composer Theodore Holdheim as well as music from the VCO’s first season including String Symphony No. 9 by Felix Mendelssohn, Romanian Folk Dances by Bela Bartok and Holberg Suite by Edvard Grieg.

VCO became an orchestra in 1995; the Telemann viola concerto was its first public performance.
This is the 30th anniversary of both the Victoria Chamber Orchestra and Yarvi Aloni's conducting career in Victoria.
