Man charged with murder for alleged role in fatal stabbing in Victoria

Charges have been laid against the suspect of a fatal stabbing on March 31 in the 700-block of Pandora Avenue.

On Thursday, June 27, charges were laid against Robert Travers for one count of second degree murder for his alleged role in the incident that left one man dead and another in serious condition.

According to the B.C. Prosecution Service, he has also been charged with aggravated assault in relation to the incident.

Police say Travers remains in custody and the BCPS says he will have a virtual court appearance on June 28 in Port Alberni.
