Missing Gulf Islands 67-year-old may be in Greater Victoria, says RCMP

A man reported missing from the Gulf Islands may be in Victoria, says RCMP.

Michael Cabeldu, 67, was reported missing on Nov. 11, Outer Gulf Islands RCMP said in a Nov. 14 news release.

Cabeldu was last seen on Nov. 9 and is believed to be in the Victoria area.

He is described as 5’ and about 88 pounds with grey hair, white beard and green eyes. Cabeldu walks with a limp and has a broken right arm that is not in a cast but may be in a sling.

He was last seen wearing beige pants, long sleeve shirt, possibly a green vest and brown shoes.

Cabeldu was last seen driving a grey 1987 Toyota van with B.C. licence plate 942 GFF.
