Condé Nast Traveler – a magazine produced by the publishers of GQ, Wired and Vogue – just named the Oak Bay Beach Hotel the fifth best hotel in Western Canada.
"We are not just in the business of hospitality – we are in the business of creating memories," Madone Pelan, the hotel's general manager, said in a news release. "This award reflects our commitment to making every experience special, no matter how our guests engage with us."
Awards are based on survey responses from thousands of the magazine's readers in the U.S. and Canada.
This isn't the first time the 97-year-old, 100-room establishment has made this list; last year, it ranked the seventh-best hotel in Western Canada.
“Consistently receiving this prestigious recognition underscores our team’s unwavering commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences," Pelan added in the release.
Close behind, the Magnolia Hotel and Spa in downtown Victoria clinched the eighth best award.
