Increase in drug poisoning indicators prompts advisory

A drug poisoning overdose advisory has been issued for Greater Victoria.

There has been an increase in drug poisoning indicators for the region, prompting the alert to be issued on Wednesday (Sept. 13) by Island Health.

Community members using opioids and stimulants face an increased risk from injection and inhalation, warned the health authority.
