Sooke RCMP believes someone with a pellet gun is responsible for damage to a parked vehicle on Otter Point Road on Friday night.

Police said Monday the incident is believed to be random, but there is a possibility of other incidents that haven’t been reported to police.

“The Sooke RCMP are looking for any surveillance video that people may have at their homes in the Otter Point area. There is no threat to public safety at this time, however criminal charges could be forwarded if the suspects are located,” said Staff Sgt. Greg Willcocks, commander of the Sooke RCMP detachment.

Anyone whose vehicles are vandalized or property damaged is asked to call RCMP at 250-642-5241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
