The West Shore RCMP are once again attempting to make change as they seek to reunite a likely disheartened numismatist – or coin collector – with his low-denomination treasure.
The collection of coins, which includes pieces from France, Costa Rica, Japan and many more countries, was seized during an investigation in November 2024. But since acquiring the collection RCMP have been unable to make a deposit with the rightful owner.
The collection features over 60 coins with some dating as far back as 1966.
If the collection is yours or you know who it belongs to, call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264. Proof of ownership will be required to claim the coins.
