Prior Lake and Mackenzie Creek Trail have been temporarily closed as police investigate an unspecified incident that took place Saturday (Aug. 12).
West Shore RCMP are asking the public to avoid the area but say there is no ongoing risk to public safety at this time.
Capital Regional District staff have put up barricades and closure signs.
West Shore RCMP say the reason for the closure is to allow crews the space and privacy they need to work.
