With assistance from the Crime Reduction Unit and other frontline officers, the West Shore RCMP Bike Patrol Unit executed a search warrant on a Langford residence which led to the seizure of drugs, weapons and cash.
Following an investigation into alleged drug trafficking taking place out of the residence, the search warrant was executed on Oct. 11.
Police seized about 583 grams of suspected cocaine, 95 grams of suspected fentanyl,111 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 29 grams of suspected ketamine, 13 grams of suspected MDMA, 2 grams of suspected benzodiazepines, 150 pills of suspected hydromorphone, 50 pills of suspected methadone and just over $1,500 in cash.
Police also seized 3 conducted energy weapons, or tasers, and a pair of nun-chucks, both of which are prohibited weapons in Canada.
Police say they are continuing their investigation and will be forwarding a "detailed report" to the Crown for consideration of criminal charges.
