The Moose Hide Campaign Development Society has been awarded the $50,000 Indigenous Truth and Reconciliation Signature Grant by the Canada Post Community Foundation.

The campaign, which works with elders and knowledge keepers across Canada to promote Indigenous teachings on healing and reconciliation, was recognized in a cheque presentation ceremony.

The event took place on Tuesday (Sept. 24) at the Saanichton Canada Post Office, with representatives from both the Moose Hide Campaign and Canada Post in attendance.

This grant is part of a broader initiative by the Canada Post Community Foundation, which has awarded a total of $1.3 million in grants to charities, schools, and community groups across the country this year. The funds, raised and distributed within each province and territory, are aimed at improving the lives of Canadian children and youth.
