Traffic is flowing smoothly on the Pat Bay Highway despite a morning crash near Island View Road.
A single-vehicle crash sent one person to hospital Oct. 16 around 7 a.m.
Central Saanich deputy chief Kevin Hackett says the lone occupant of the vehicle was taken to hospital but the extent of the injury is unknown.
The driver was avoiding a wildlife animal which caused him to lose control of his car, hitting a post on the intersection on Island View Road adjacent to Michell's Farm Market.
The car has since been towed from the scene around 8:30 a.m.
